For some people speaking in public is one of the most feared tasks they will ever have to go through. Sweaty palms, sleepless nights, physically sick – these are all symptoms that can be avoided through training.
At the end of this course you will be able to better control your fears and speak more confidently in public. You will have all the tools and techniques you need to recognize where you fear is coming from and what you need too do to make it go away.
If you are fed up with feeling nervous before public speaking then this course can show you how to overcome your fears and start to feel more confident today!
Who this course is for:
Anyone who feels nervous about speaking in public and wants to overcome their fear
Introverts, people who are shy, people who lack confidence and nervous speakers are all welcome!
1. Welcome and introduction to the workshop
2. Mental preparation and confident body language – appearance, mental preparation tricks (power pose, visualization), confident body language (posture, hand movement, voice, eye contact). Practice.
3. Presentation structure and content – know your audience expectations, know your content well, how to structure your presentation, Start strong/ finish strong. Practice.
4. Engaging with the audience – How you engage with the audience. Use of positive body language and storytelling.
5. Final practice with attendees’ presentations and feedback/discussion.

Ivana Fertitta is an Italian Psychologist, Trainer and a Key-Note Speaker. She has a unique skills-set acquired working for over 10 years in a range of roles in the fields of Community Psychology, Careers Advisory and Business Management. She has worked in small, medium and blue chip-companies in Italy and UK before
finding her passion in Training. She has been a Trainer for the past 4 years – starting in London and pursuing her dream job in Singapore where she moved in 2017. She runs Communication, Leadership and Well-being training courses for MetaMindTraining.

an MBA from the Indian School of Business in 2012. Prior to that, she was an attorney for seven years in the U.S. with an LLM from the University of Virginia. She is currently licensed to practice law in India and U.S.
She is an award-winning public speaker and a published author who enjoys conducting workshops, mentoring, and coaching.

Nimisha is a competition and regulation specialist with international experience. Having worked in consultancy firms and competition regulators in UK, New Zealand and Singapore, she has a deep understanding of how regulators operate and how markets function. As a former Deputy Director, at the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore, Nimisha supervised in-depth market studies on e-commerce, and various consumer products. As an expert, she was seconded to the Singapore Tourism Board to lead a regulatory review. Nimisha has advised companies on the competition effects of their business strategies and conducted competition training workshops. She has presented to industry associations, business schools, universities, workshops for ASEAN
government agencies, as well as at the International Competition Network Conference. Nimisha is featured in Keynote Asia’s Women Speakers, a directory of female speakers and actively talks about “Competition in the digital economy”. She is a member of the Asia Competition Association and the Economic Society of Singapore.
