SPEAKERS

1.Katherine Lord

[Director of Client Development – Frank Recruitment Group]

With over 20 years recruitment experience across multiple sectors, Katherine is one of the most experienced recruitment leaders in the UK market. After graduating with a 2:1 from the University of Birmingham in Social Policy & Politics, Katherine moved straight into a career in recruitment. In senior business development roles across offices in London and the South East, Katherine had a successful recruitment career at Hays focusing on Finance, Audit, Compliance & Risk hiring. After having her wonderful children, now 9 and 12, she moved to grow an interim and consulting practice for a Legal Risk & Compliance boutique recruitment firm, the Danos Group. She was made Partner within 15 months, moved into a global business development role and launched her practice across the US and APAC. After some wonderful gardening leave last year, Katherine joined the Frank Recruitment Group in December 2022. For the first year at FRG, she ran the salesforce recruitment division, Mason Frank and is now Director of Client Development focusing on SME end user and partner growth as well as development of our corporate, account managed, recruitment solutions.

2.Maria Clara Iruzun Martin

[PhD Researcher/Data Analytics Intern- The Biodiversity Consultancy, Cambridge]

Maria Clara is a biologist by training, starting her career with a BSc in Biological Sciences from UCL, then moving onto a Master of Research in Biodiversity, Evolution and Conservation also at UCL in conjunction with the Natural History Museum and the Zoological Society of London. After working as a researcher at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in the USA, Maria then went on to start a PhD at the University of St Andrews looking at the interactions between offshore energy structures, commercial fisheries and marine predators. As part of her PhD, Maria works with a variety of spatial and satellite data, building statistical models and publishing in high impact journals. Maria then took a leave of absence from her PhD to explore a new sector in which she could apply her data analytics and data science experience and she started an internship at The Biodiversity Consultancy, Cambridge, where she is at now. Maria is excited about opportunities to apply her coding, data analytics and data sciences skills to environmental and climate data which can have a true influence on reducing our impacts on the planet.

3.Prathyusha(Prathy) Kamasani

[Director – Avanade]

Prathy is a director at Avanade who specialises in Power BI and Azure data solutions. She loves working with Microsoft Fabric, a cutting-edge technology that lets her create custom and high-quality BI systems with the Microsoft BI platform. She cares about design and user experience, which makes her BI solutions look great and easy to use. She works with clients from various sectors and industries, helping them to make smarter decisions based on data. Prathy is also a keen BI community member, writing regularly at prathy.com about Power BI and other BI topics. She likes to share what she knows and learns with other BI fans through her participation in the London Fabric User Group, and her talks at events like SQLBits, Microsoft Business Applications Summit, SQL Saturdays and Local User groups. She is a Microsoft Data Platform MVP, a prestigious award that acknowledges her contributions to the BI field.

4.Diksha 

[Data Analytics Manager –Philip Morris International]

Diksha Bhardwaj brings nearly a decade of experience in data analytics and product management, driven by a genuine passion for innovation. Currently, she navigates the dynamic landscape of Philip Morris International, focusing on crafting machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions to fuel business growth and enhance stakeholder engagement. Outside her corporate role, she proudly serves as a Founding Member at Women in Product UK, advocating for women in the product space.
