Leigh-Anne Sharland is a 40 year veteran as a woman in data. Working on significant complex data driven systems to support 24×7 dynamic businesses she has uncovered many key insights into maximising company data to improve productivity, profitability and benefit for customers and staff. Leigh-Anne has a deep passion for staff empowerment and skill development in the data field.

Shibani is a data practitioner who excels at building data-driven solutions. She is tech-savvy, outgoing and commended on her ability to communicate complex data solutions in simple layman terms.

Shibani is currently involved in Master Data Management projects in Australia and has previously worked to build analytics solutions at a leading research university in Los Angeles. She also launched the California chapter of She Loves Data, collaborating with data stewards across California to provide free data and tech workshops.

She holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from RVCE and a Master of Business Information Systems from Monash University.

A. Yes! Participation is free, but slots are limited, so please register early!

Q. Can I join from anywhere in the world?

A. As this is a closed door in-person networking event, we can only accommodate Australia – based business contacts – verified partners and community members – at this time.

Q. Is it only for women?

A. Just like our regular She Loves Data #MeetUp events, this is open to everyone irrespective of gender.

Q. Is this an interactive discussion or just a ‘listen-in’ webinar?

A. Definitely interactive! Your thoughts, feedback and questions are most welcome and will be entertained during the polling and Q&A at the end of the discussion.

Q. What if something comes up and I need to retract my registration?

A. If you can’t join the in-person meetup, let us know at least a day before, and we’ll be able to offer your spot to someone else on the waitlist. Please email us at, and we’ll help.
