There is no one-size-fits-all leadership, and you don’t have to fit a certain mold to be a good leader. To uncover and understand your strength, in this session we will be referencing Gallup’s StrengthsFinder assessment, a tool utilized by 95% of Fortune 500 companies. This assessment identifies the top 5 strengths from 34 success contributors. Recognizing your unique strengths is the key to unlocking a leadership style that authentically inspires and empowers those you lead. Taking the Gallup test is optional, however participants who opted to take the test will be able to draw deeper insights into their personal strengths and how these can be leveraged for professional growth.
Join Indonesia’s Whatsapp group for details on taking the test: https://chat.whatsapp.com/BsPz1aa0JDu1yZBIMLux7V
For those who have already taken the test in the past can submit their result here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScf3SjDt9FCx5ATLHq2M4YhyQNL9z4_glYpL4PoWAfIk6Ej-g/viewform

This gathering features an inspirational keynote by Anjali Sharma, founder of Narrative: The Business of Stories. Entitled “The Power of Small Data“, Anjali’s talk will focus on the power of human interactions and the “small data” from these engagements. To interact means we have to dress up and show up. Anjali will be sharing her mental model for deciding which interactions are worth showing up for, and those we can graciously say no to.
The talk will be followed by an experimental networking format, where you can all “table hop” across three themed clusters: personal development, career development, and data and technology trends.
We’d love to see you! Celebrate YOU! Come have a drink on us, while meeting She Loves Data volunteers, partners, and like-minded community members.

Handling Challenging Conversations
Do you tend to shy away from difficult conversations? If so, you are not alone!
In fact, some surveys suggest that around 66% of people feel stressed or anxious when they know a challenging conversation is coming up. And 7 out of 10 would prefer to avoid bringing up problems and issues, instead staying quiet.
Unfortunately, these problems rarely go away by themselves! Instead, they tend to create ongoing friction, tension, and “conflict debt”.
The good news is that you can learn some skills and tool for raising tricky issues and navigating these conversations more effectively.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- What makes challenging conversations feel so “difficult” in the first place
- Why it’s very ‘human’ to avoid them!
- Why learning to handle challenging conversations is such an important skill
- A step-by-step framework for raising an important issue and opening a two-way dialogue
You’ll also receive some practical takeaway resources to help put what you’ve learned into practice afterwards, in your ‘real life’ work environment.
Finally, you’ll have an opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with Leisa, who will share her insights as a coach, psychologist, and leadership development specialist.
Speakers
Leisa is a registered and Masters-qualified Workplace Psychologist, facilitator, and consultant with over 17 years of experience in leadership development, organisational and positive psychology, employee engagement, behavioural change, and more. She has delivered a broad range of projects over the years, now spending most of her time helping leaders and individuals to become more skilled, self-aware, and ‘human’ in the way they communicate with each other and navigate important workplace conversations.

Examples include ANZ, Australia Post, Telstra, Envato, NAB, Square Peg Capital, REA Group, Cancer Council, OES, Melrose Group, and the Australian Government at local, State and Federal level.
